CoreSil is now EPA Approved
After more than 5 years of research and development and
rigorous EPA approval cycles, Cactus Nano is proud to announce
EPA approval of our Coresil antimicrobial technology (EPA Reg. No.
93413-1). Cactus Nano develops powerful, long-lasting antimicrobial,
antifouling technology for applications in water filters, water storage,
distribution systems, and consumer products. Coresil is a patented silver
based formula that enables a slow, controlled release of antimicrobial agents
for long lasting perfor mance. It is customizable and amenable to easy
integration into a wide range of materials and products.
Cactus Nano began development of the patented Coresil technology in conjunction with Arizona State University researchers starting in 2019. Initially developed for NASA, Coresil is now available for mass market applications. Cactus Nano offers quick, efficient, and long-lasting antimicrobial additives in the forms of powder and suspension. CoreSil antimicrobial products are effective against a wide range of bacteria and viruses. The antimicrobial activity can be customized based on the application.
